First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether having surgery earlier or later, and starting rehab sooner or later, helps people with severe knee injuries recover faster. It includes 690 military personnel and civilians aged 16 to 55 with injuries to two or more knee ligaments. Participants are randomly assigned to different timing groups, and researchers track how quickly they return to their normal activities.
