Summary
This study tested whether having patients stand during an ultrasound helps doctors see small liver tumors near the diaphragm that are often missed when lying down. 95 adults with known liver lesions underwent scans in standing, lying on their back, and lying on their side. The goal was to see which position gives the clearest view. Results may help improve routine liver ultrasound exams.
