Summary
This study looks at whether a special training and coaching program for supervisors (called COSTARS) can help keep caseworkers and peer mentors in their jobs longer and improve services for families. About 200 supervisors from Ohio child welfare agencies will either take part in COSTARS or continue their usual practices. Researchers will track staff turnover, how quickly families get help, and whether the program is delivered as intended.
