New app trains students to be upstanders against bullying

Summary
This study tested a mobile web app designed to teach middle school students how to safely intervene when they witness bullying. Over 600 students in four states participated to see if this online training could effectively reduce bullying. The goal was to create a low-cost, easy-to-use program that schools could implement widely to prevent bullying and its negative effects on mental health.
