First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special skin glue around an IV site helps keep the IV in place better than the usual clear bandage alone. It involves 300 children up to 18 years old who need an IV for at least 24 hours in the emergency room. The goal is to reduce IV slips and avoid extra needle sticks.
