Summary
This study tests whether measuring drug levels in the blood can help doctors give the right dose of common antidepressants (sertraline or escitalopram) to hospitalized children and adults with major depression. About 180 participants will receive personalized dosing based on these measurements. The goal is to improve symptom relief, reduce side effects, and shorten the time to feeling better.
