First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study explores whether a non-invasive light-based device (SR-NIRS) can measure blood flow and oxygen levels in the testicles of children. It includes healthy boys and those with sudden scrotal pain to see if the device can help tell if testicular torsion is present. The goal is to find a faster, simpler way to diagnose this emergency condition.
