Can a simple squat fix your walk after knee surgery?

NCT ID NCT07308431

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a specific single-leg squat exercise to standard rehabilitation helps people walk better after ACL reconstruction surgery. Researchers will enroll 48 adults who had the surgery 12 weeks prior to see if the extra exercise improves knee movement, muscle strength, and walking patterns. The goal is to find a more targeted rehab method to correct lingering walking problems after knee ligament repair.
