First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily pill called dapagliflozin (a diabetes drug) can prevent heart damage in breast cancer patients receiving anthracycline chemotherapy. About 70 women aged 18-70 with low to medium heart risk will take the drug during their chemo. The goal is to see if it keeps the heart's energy levels healthy and reduces the chance of long-term heart problems.
