Interactive learning boosts spiritual care views in nursing students
NCT ID NCT07427667
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested two teaching methods—lecture and a collaborative 'jigsaw' technique—to see how they affect nursing students' views on spiritual care. 90 fourth-year nursing students in Turkey took part. The jigsaw method improved students' perceptions of spiritual care more than lectures, but neither method increased how often students actually provided spiritual care in the short term.
