Back injection vs IV drip: which gives better pain relief after hysterectomy?

NCT ID NCT05654363

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to compare two ways of giving pain medication after hysterectomy surgery. Researchers examined 670 women who had either spinal injections or intravenous (IV) morphine for pain relief during the first two days after surgery. The goal was to see which method provided better pain control with fewer side effects like nausea and constipation.
