First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study compares two types of anesthesia—spinal and epidural—for people having liver surgery. The goal is to see if spinal anesthesia leads to better blood pressure control, less need for IV fluids, and similar pain relief, helping patients recover faster. About 128 adults undergoing elective liver surgery will participate.
