Summary
This small study tested whether a non-invasive electrical stimulation applied to the spinal cord could improve walking and balance in 8 people who had a stroke and have weakness on one side. Participants walked on a special mat to measure step symmetry and speed. The goal was to see if this gentle stimulation can help make their gait more even and safer.
