First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a non-invasive spinal stimulation device could reduce muscle spasticity (tightness) and improve movement in people with incomplete spinal cord injury. Twelve participants received repeated sessions of the stimulation over several weeks. The goal was to see if the benefits lasted beyond the treatment period and if the device could be used at home.
