New approach could slash pain after back surgery

Summary

This study is testing two types of nerve blocks to see which works better at reducing pain after spinal fusion surgery. Researchers will compare how much pain medication patients need, their pain levels, and how quickly they recover. The study involves 75 adults having elective neck or lower back fusion surgery.
