First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 87 adults who had a type of back problem called isthmic spondylolisthesis, where a small bone in the spine breaks and a vertebra slips forward. All patients had a two-part surgery to fuse the spine from the front and back. The results showed the surgery was safe and effective, helping to stabilize the spine and relieve pressure on nerves.
