First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at people with persistent back and leg pain after back surgery, known as failed back surgery syndrome. It compares a treatment called subthreshold spinal cord stimulation (a mild electrical pulse to the spine) with the best standard medical care. The goal is to see which approach helps more people feel better overall after 6 months, including pain relief, mood, and ability to return to daily activities.
