Heat-Sensing cameras may reveal how spinal stimulation eases CRPS pain

NCT ID NCT05777889

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special thermal camera can detect changes in blood flow and nerve activity after spinal cord stimulation in people with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). About 12 adults with CRPS in one leg will have thermal images taken before and after the procedure. Researchers will also track pain levels and symptom severity to see if the camera readings match how well the treatment works.
