First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study is testing whether epidural stimulation (a device placed near the spinal cord) can improve walking, standing, and bladder control in people who have had a spinal cord injury within the past year. The goal is to help participants take steps and better manage urination. The study involves 16 adults with injuries between the T1 and T10 vertebrae who cannot currently stand or walk on their own.
