New study seeks best Add-On for Longer-Lasting numbness in leg surgery

Summary

This study tests two medicines, dexmedetomidine and fentanyl, added to standard spinal anesthesia for lower leg surgeries. The goal is to see which one makes the numbness and muscle relaxation last longer during the operation. 40 adults aged 20-60 having elective leg surgery will take part. The results could help doctors choose the best option for smoother surgeries.
