First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a new device, the SpherePVI catheter, to treat a heart rhythm problem called atrial fibrillation (AFib). About 100 adults with AFib will receive this treatment to see if it safely and effectively restores normal heart rhythm by isolating the veins that trigger the condition. The goal is to improve outcomes for people whose AFib hasn't been controlled by medication.
