Your voice could reveal early dementia risk
NCT ID NCT07553117
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested a speech-analysis tool called AcceXible to see if it can detect mild cognitive impairment (MCI) — early memory or thinking problems — in 114 Colombian adults aged 55 and older. Participants used a mobile device to speak, and the AI compared their speech patterns to results from a standard pencil-and-paper test. The goal is to make early detection easier and more accessible, especially in primary care settings.
