Summary
This study tested a new way to process sound to help people with hearing loss understand speech better. 40 adults who use both a cochlear implant and a hearing aid listened to sounds with different processing settings. The goal was to see if boosting certain parts of consonant sounds or removing confusing parts could improve speech perception.
