NCT ID NCT04818268
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at how memory for speech movements and sounds helps people learn to speak better. Researchers used a gentle brain stimulation technique to temporarily quiet a part of the brain linked to memory, then measured changes in speech. The goal was to understand the brain's memory systems, not to treat any condition. The study included 120 right-handed adults with no known neurological issues.
