First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 37 times
Summary
This study tested a new image-processing algorithm called Spectral Precise Image (SPI) on a CT scanner. The goal was to see if SPI produces images as clear and useful for diagnosis as the current standard method (iDose4). 126 adults who had CT scans of the head, body, or heart participated. The results will help determine if this new algorithm can be used in routine care.
