First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tested a new image-processing algorithm called Spectral Precise Image (SPI) on CT scans of the head, body, and heart. Researchers compared SPI images to standard iDose4 images from 126 adult patients to see if the new method provides at least equal image quality and diagnostic confidence. The goal is to improve how doctors see details in scans without increasing radiation exposure.
