Summary
This study looks at how spending 12 months in space on the International Space Station changes astronauts' thinking skills, spatial awareness, and brain structure. Researchers will use cognitive tests and brain scans to compare these changes with those seen on shorter 6-month and 2-month missions. The study includes 14 participants—astronauts and matched healthy volunteers on Earth.
