Summary

This study tested whether different types of sounds (nature, city, white noise, or silence) can help improve mood, stress, and anxiety in people with fibromyalgia. 72 adults with fibromyalgia listened to each sound for 20 minutes during four weekly visits. Researchers measured changes in mood, stress, and anxiety before and after each session to see which sounds helped most.
