New PET scans to reveal if sotatercept repairs damaged arteries in PAH

Summary

This pilot study will test whether the drug sotatercept can reduce scarring and remodeling of blood vessels in the lungs of 15 people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Researchers will use special PET/CT scans to see changes in the arteries and right side of the heart over 24 weeks. The goal is to learn if this imaging method can detect early improvements from the drug.
