New dialysis filter aims to quiet inflammation in kidney patients

Summary

This study tests special filters (sorption technologies) added to standard dialysis to reduce inflammation in people with advanced chronic kidney disease. About 60 adults on regular dialysis who have high inflammation levels will be enrolled. The main goal is to see if these filters lower inflammatory markers in the blood.
