New dialysis filter aims to tame chronic inflammation

Summary

This study tests whether special filters (sorption technologies) can reduce inflammation in people on long-term hemodialysis for kidney failure. About 60 adults with high inflammation levels will be enrolled. The main goal is to see if these filters lower inflammatory markers like IL-6 in the blood.
