Summary

This study tested whether adding the cholesterol-lowering drug pravastatin to the standard cancer drug sorafenib helps people with advanced liver cancer live longer. It involved 474 adults with Child-Pugh A cirrhosis who could not have curative treatments. The goal was to see if the combination improved survival, slowed cancer growth, and maintained quality of life.
