Summary
This study tests whether sorafenib, a drug currently used for cancer, can help people with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes keep making some of their own insulin. Ten adults aged 18-60 will receive either sorafenib or a placebo for a short time. The goal is to see if the drug can slow the loss of insulin-producing cells and improve blood sugar control.
