First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested the drug sorafenib in 50 adults with advanced liver cancer that could not be removed by surgery and had worsened after at least one prior treatment. The goal was to see how long the cancer stayed under control and to check for side effects. Results help doctors understand if sorafenib can be a useful option when standard treatments stop working.
