Summary
This study tested whether solriamfetol, a medication for excessive daytime sleepiness, can also improve cognitive function (like memory and attention) in adults with obstructive sleep apnea who still feel sleepy and have trouble thinking clearly. 59 participants took either the drug or a placebo for 5 weeks, then switched. The goal was to see if the drug helped with thinking skills beyond just reducing sleepiness.
