Robotic glove gives stroke survivors a helping hand

NCT ID NCT07327151

Summary

This study tested whether using a soft robotic glove during standard rehabilitation therapy could help improve hand and arm movement for people with chronic stroke. Thirty-four participants who had a stroke more than three months prior used the glove alongside their usual therapy. The goal was to see if the extra, targeted practice with the glove could help people perform daily tasks like eating, writing, and dressing more easily.
