First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at how well a bone graft material (xenograft) preserves the socket left after a tooth is pulled in the upper back jaw. Sixteen men in good health took part. Researchers used scans and lab tests to measure bone healing and quality over four months. The goal was to see if this material helps keep the area ready for a future dental implant.
