Summary

This study tested whether anti-vaping social media messages designed specifically for sexual and gender minority (SGM) teens are better at preventing vaping than generic messages. Over 1,100 SGM youth ages 13–20 who had not vaped recently received either tailored or non-tailored messages. Researchers measured their curiosity about vaping and whether they started vaping within a week.
