AI to uncover hidden social risks for brain aneurysm patients
NCT ID NCT06866210
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how social factors like income, education, and lifestyle might influence the risk of a brain aneurysm bursting. Researchers will analyze data from 1,800 patients using artificial intelligence to find patterns. The goal is to improve risk prediction and help prevent severe outcomes like stroke or death.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could lead to better prediction tools for brain aneurysm rupture, helping doctors identify high-risk patients earlier.
- What could go wrong
- This is an observational study using existing data, so it cannot prove cause and effect. The AI models may have limitations, and results may not apply to all populations.
