Summary
This study tested a program called SOCIAL-ENGAGE designed to help Spanish-speaking adults at risk for suicide feel more connected to their culture and community. Researchers worked with 54 participants to see if increasing cultural-social activities could lower suicide risk. The goal is to offer this program as a suicide prevention tool for the Hispanic community.
