First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a mobile program called Quitxt that sends tailored texts and videos to help young Latino smokers (ages 18-29) quit. About 1,200 participants will be randomly assigned to get Quitxt or standard quit-smoking information. The goal is to see if the personalized approach leads to more people successfully quitting, which could reduce smoking-related diseases.
