Summary

This study compares two ways to help people quit smoking while they are getting lung cancer screening. About 1,188 adults who currently smoke and qualify for lung screening will be randomly assigned to one of two programs. The goal is to see which approach works better for helping people stop smoking and stay smoke-free for at least 6 months.
