Summary
This study tested a special wellness program designed to help veterans living with HIV quit smoking. 234 veterans who smoked at least 5 cigarettes a day took part. The program was compared to standard care, which included a quitline and text messaging support. The goal was to see if the tailored program helped more veterans quit smoking for good.
