Doctors test Double-Duty drugs to help pancreatitis patients kick smoking

NCT ID NCT07171112

Summary

This study is testing whether stronger medication combinations can help people with pancreatitis quit smoking. All 45 participants will first try a standard quit-smoking drug. Those who still smoke after 6 weeks will try either a higher dose of that drug or add a second medication. The goal is to see which approach helps more people quit for good, which could help control their pancreatitis.
