First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a smoking cessation program that combines a smartphone app with sessions from a trained psychologist. 429 adult smokers who want to quit will be placed into one of three groups: eight therapy sessions plus the app, four therapy sessions plus the app, or the app alone. The goal is to see which level of support helps people stop smoking the most.
