Can an app and a few therapy sessions help you quit smoking for good?
NCT ID NCT06900985
First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a smoking cessation program that combines a smartphone app with sessions from a trained psychologist. About 429 adult smokers who smoke at least 5 cigarettes daily will be placed into one of three groups: 8 therapy sessions plus the app, 4 sessions plus the app, or the app alone. The goal is to see if more therapist contact leads to better quit rates.
