Clearing the air: new york city tests strategies to keep public housing Smoke-Free
NCT ID NCT05016505
Summary
This study tested two different approaches to help people follow no-smoking rules in public housing buildings. Researchers worked with over 400 residents in New York City to see if encouraging all residents to support the rules, plus offering smokers help to quit or smoke outside, could reduce secondhand smoke exposure. The goal was to create healthier living environments by decreasing smoking inside buildings.
