Your smartwatch might be more honest about your exercise than you are
NCT ID NCT07389369
Summary
This study aimed to see how well students' self-reported physical activity on questionnaires matches their actual step counts measured by Apple smartwatches. Researchers followed 102 university students for one week, comparing their smartwatch data with their answers on standard activity surveys. The goal was to determine if smartwatch data could provide more objective measurements than questionnaires for future research.
