First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study checks if a Samsung smartwatch can accurately measure blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, anxiety, and sleep quality in 60 adults scheduled for disc herniation surgery. Participants wear the watch before surgery, and its readings are compared to standard medical tools. The goal is to see if smartwatches could be a convenient alternative for monitoring patients before an operation.
