Can your smartwatch really track your oxygen? new study puts popular models to the test
NCT ID NCT05789563
Summary
This study tested how accurately three different brands of smartwatches measure blood oxygen levels compared to a standard medical device. Eighteen healthy volunteers wore the watches while their oxygen levels were safely lowered in a controlled setting. The goal was to see if consumer smartwatches could be reliable for spotting potential health problems where oxygen drops over time.
